AMTG's goals
- Persuade the City of Austin to purchase land along Walnut, Onion, Williamson and other creeks for greenway development NOW, while it is still affordable.
- Ensure that the public has appropriate access to lands acquired with public money, specifically Proposition 2 Water Quality Protection lands and other public lands.
- Repair and extend the Shoal Creek Trail.
- Expand partnerships with downtown businesses and the City so that new development along lower Shoal Creek is compatible with the Shoal Creek Master Plan.
- Complete the Bull Creek greenway by developing a trail through the newly acquired Stennis tract.
